In my science classroom, I use the Swivl Mirror Reflect as a powerful tool to help students interactively engage with our learning targets. By setting up specific goals in Mirror, the platform interacts with students, creating a meaningful dialogue that helps us uncover each student’s strengths and areas for improvement in our content. This feedback is essential, especially as we navigate the cross-cutting concepts central to the NGSS Standards. The insights gained here are invaluable for promoting inquiry-based learning, where students practice thinking and reasoning like scientists. This approach makes their learning journey both more personalized and scientifically rigorous.
